Rusty and Lindsey met at college here in Nashville. They're an adventurous, fun-loving couple–as in for their honeymoon they were zip-lining and white-water rafting in Costa Rica. Which might also explain why they're both competitive soccer players, having played for their college teams. Though now in Denver, they chose to have the wedding back in Nashville. So for over a year they planned everything from afar.
The wedding weekend began with a delicious rehearsal dinner at Sambuca in the Gulch.
Lindsey grew up here and wanted a Southern-style wedding. Using that as a starting point, they infused the day with a lot personal touches – a live band composed of friends, writing their own vows, to an Arsenal crest groom's cake. Their wedding colors–purple, grey, and green were found throughout the decor and matched the natural setting beautifully. The lovely outdoor ceremony on the back lawn of The Hermitage was followed by a sit-down dinner reception in a restored cabin also on the property.
Best wishes to you Rusty and Lindsey in your first year of marriage! Even though you're now far from Nashville, don't be strangers. ;)
